Selecting the Right Postcard Specs Online

Standard sizes for flat postcards are 4x6, 4.25x6, 5x7, 5.5x8.5, 6x9, and 6x11 (custom sizes range from 4x4 to 11x16). These sizes are ideal for those who want to print and mail at affordable rates. Using standard card sizes, you can qualify for discounted postage rates like First Class Card Rate, First Class Letter Rate, and Standard Bulk Rate. Half fold cards come in 8.5x6, 10x7, 11x8.25, 12x9, and 12x11 standard sizes. For tri fold postcards, we offer sizes from 12.75x6, 15x7, and 16.5x8.5 (folded cards' custom sizes range from 7x5 to 17x11). Folded prints have 2 or more panels where you can place more photos and text.Postcard Stock Options
You have these stock options for printing:14 pt. Cardstock Gloss, 14 pt. Cardstock Matte, and 13 pt. Cardstock Uncoated (Flat Postcards) and 10 pt. Cardstock Gloss or 10 pt. Cardstock Matte (Half Fold and Tri-Fold). Our cardstocks are quality, durable, and eco-friendly. 14 pt. stocks are certified by PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) while 13 pt. stocks are certified by SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative). Glossy stocks have water-based aqueous coating for more vibrant colors, whereas Matte cardstocks have dull coating for a very elegant look and smooth feel. Uncoated stocks have smooth paper texture for highest opacity.Postcard Color Options
Digital Room offers these color options: Full Color on Both Sides (4/4), Full Color Front and Black Back (4/1), and Full Color Front and Blank Back (4/0). Opt for 4/4 cards to maximize the front and back side of your prints. Use high resolution images and place it on front or back of your flat cards or place graphics and text on the different panels of your folded prints. For a cheaper printing price, you can go for a 4/1 card or the one with a blank back.Postcard Printing Quantities
Digital printers are ideal for short-run prints or rush projects, with 50 to 200 flat postcard quantities. Offset presses are commonly used for commercial purposes with quantities ranging from 500 to 100,000 (flat cards) and 250 to 100,000 (folded cards).
