Web Press Printing

A web press is a rotary press that prints on a continuous roll of paper. Some web presses are capable of printing on both sides of the paper at the same time. This is made possible by the several connected units for printing different colors of ink while doing cutting, folding and then punching.

Offset press printing web makes use of high speed commercial web presses that is perfect for newspapers, books, etc. It makes use of wide rolls of paper and then use heat to set the ink. Another web press used for web press printing is the small or cold-set web presses that are used to handle lower volume printing of forms, smaller publications and direct mail with paper rolls with widths as little as 11 inches.

Color web press printing is used for printing newspapers are so immense that they can occupy several floors and is capable of containing multiple 4 color and single color printing units as well diverse types of folding sections that can handle the different sections of the paper.
